Apply to Study Mandarin in China

More about the application procedure:

1. Application

Send the following documents (by fax, mail, or email) to our office by the Application deadline.

i. Complete the CL University Mandarin online application
ii. Certificate or Diploma of completion of high school education, or equivalent
iii. Copy of applicant's passport (personal details and photo page)
iv. Copy of evidence of Application Fee payment (bank receipt or check)
v. 2 Passport sized photos
vi. One page Resume
vii. Reference by someone other than a family member

Once the application is received, our staff will send confirmation and reserve placement for the applicant in the university's program.

2. Enrollment

Once placement at the university has been secured, our staff will mail the necessary documents to you in order to obtain a Visa and information concerning the university's acceptance. Please read CL University Mandarin's Terms and Conditions before enrollment.

3. Visa

Visa application documents (a Letter of Invitation and Confirmation of Acceptance form) will be mailed to you. Applicants should apply for an F visa. F Visa are usually issued for 1, 3, or 6 month stays, regardless of the study duration length. All visa fees are covered by the student. Contact the nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate for the Visa Application Form, appointment, and processing fees.
We suggest you bring the following documents with you to the Embassy or Consulate:
i. Completed Visa Application Form
ii. Valid passport (valid a minimum of 6 months after the university program ends)
iii. The Letter of Invitation mailed to you
iv. The Confirmation of Acceptance mailed to you
v. Relevant visa application fees
vi. 2 Passport sized photos

4. Arrival in China

Send an email or fax with arrival details so that our staff can arrange for airport pick-up. Information needed includes: date of arrival, time of arrival, airline, flight number, and place of departure. Airfare is paid by the student.

5. Payment

Payment of the Application Fee (non-refundable $100 USD) and Enrollment Fee may be paid in one of three ways: Bank Transfer, Bank or Cashier's Check, or Money Order. Save a receipt and email or fax along with other documents as proof of payment.

Bank Transfer: for payment details, please contact CL University Mandarin.

Bank Check or Money Order: make check or money order payable to: CL University Mandarin. Checks and money orders should be sent to the nearest CL University Mandarin office by express or registered mail. CL University Mandarin cannot take responsibility for lost or stolen money in the course of mailing.
